Many pieces are strengthened by a dominant Cure-like bass pattern  This is essentially a 70/30 Cocteau/Dead Can Dance weave. It is Perry’s beautiful singing voice that allows LSD to be more than just another Cocteau clone. Her voice is a very powerful presence, merging strength with delicacy much like Dead Can Dance’s Lisa Gerrard. The songs are all very beautiful, but are all very similar and rather short.
