Half way through the show –which first spotlights Deathwatch Beetle Repairman– the podcast duo play “Sound of Waves” (erroneously credited as “Alicia” due to a naming error on iTunes), followed by a discussion of the project in general and this album in particular. While not particularly a knowledgeable conversation, it does seem to fit a particular viewpoint that some dark-music enthusiasts hold about the influence of drum ‘n’ bass and downtempo scenes had on that period of music.
