Utah artist, SLEEPTHIEF, released a brand new collaboration with Suzanne Perry. Their song, “Empyrean,” is featured on a Barnes & Noble exclusive CD produced by Neurodisc Records, called Beauty 2: Music that Touches the Soul. This various artist compilation is a follow-up to Beauty: Music that Touches the Heart which featured several songs by Sleepthief collaborating with vocalists Kristy Thirsk, Nicola Hitchcock, and Jody Quine.

Love Spirals Downwards’ vocalist, Suzanne Perry, has contributed to two songs on the new Falling You album, Faith. You might be able to guess from the titles alone which tracks she penned, but as the featured artists are not listed, hers are “The End Before the Winds” and “And the Rain Comes in Waves.”

Suzanne’s band, Melodyguild, are scheduled to have a CD release party at Club Violane in LA’s Chinatown district this Saturday. The band will be performing songs from their brand new release, Aitu, out now on Projekt Records.
The long awaited debut album by Melodyguild — the band of Love Spirals Downwards’ vocalist, Suzanne Perry — has finally been released! The ‘Aitu’ EP — originally announced in early 2003 — will officially drop June 10th, but it’s available online now via Projekt. This 4-song digipac CD is currently #6 on the Projekt Top 10 – congrats!
Love Spirals Downwards’ singer, Suzanne Perry, appears on one song of the latest Falling You album, Human. “An Angel Ameliorate” is very ambient and sad with Suzy’s classic glossolalia style lyrics. To the best of my knowledge, this is her first released work since Melodyguild’s cover of “Sally’s Song” on the Projekt Holiday Single 2. You can check out the track for free from Magnatune here.

Suzanne’s new band, Melodyguild, premiered their first recorded song during a live in-studio interview with long time friend of the band, DJ Wednesday, on her seminal Gothic/Industrial radio program, Generation Death. The show airs on the college radio station KSPC 88.7 FM in Claremont, CA.
